Seit 2012 veranstaltet der Verein Urucungo e.V. jährlich ein großes internationales Capoeira-Treffen in München unter dem Motto „Encontro Cultural“ (zu dt.: „kulturelles Zusammentreffen“). Einem Zusammentreffen der unterschiedlichsten kulturellen Ausdrucksformen der Capoeira und von Capoeira-Lehrenden und -Praktizierenden aus aller Welt, die sich in München zum Austausch ihrer Erfahrungen treffen.
Since 2012, the association Urucungo e.V. has been organizing annually a large international Capoeira meeting in Munich with the motto „Encontro Cultural“ (engl: „cultural meeting“). A gathering of the most diverse cultural expressions of Capoeira and of Capoeira teachers and practitioners from all over the world who meet in Munich to exchange their experiences.

Encontro Cultural 2024 – Na Roda do Samba, 21. – 23.06.2024 in Munich
Our Encontro Cultural 2024 will take place from 21st to 23rd of June 2024 in Munich.
It will be a Capoeira event, with the presence of mestre Pernalonga from São Paulo, but it will also be an event that aims to show the different types of sambas and the relationship between samba and capoeira.
There will be: samba duro, umbigada, pernada carioca, samba de roda, samba de mesa, as well as many capoeira classes and rodas!
We will close the event on Sunday with a Brazilian barbecue with lots of music and improvised samba, with bottles, plates and matchboxes, it will truly be a party.
