In diesem Jahr feiern wir das 15-jährige Bestehen unseres Capoeira-Angebots in München. Mestre Sabiá hat in Europa über viele Jahre große Zuneigung und Wertschätzung erfahren und möchte nun etwas davon zurückgeben. Deshalb wird das Encontro Cultural 2026 neben Capoeira und brasilianischer Kultur auch europäische Kulturformen würdigen.
Unter dem Motto „Encontro Cultural“ (portugiesisch für „kulturelle Zusammenkunft“) werden Capoeira-Lehrende aus ganz Europa in München zusammenkommen und Workshops für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene anbieten. Neben Kampf, Tanz, Akrobatik und Musik steht diesmal ein echter kultureller Austausch im Mittelpunkt: Gäste aus verschiedenen Ländern stellen europäische Kulturpraktiken vor und laden zum Mitmachen ein. Am Samstag, den 11. Juli, findet im SF Harteck Vereinsheim eine große Feier mit brasilianischer Kulinarik und Musik statt.
Es haben sich bereits Capoeira-Meister und -Lehrende aus Italien, Spanien, Frankreich, Österreich, Slowenien, Griechenland, Serbien und vielen weiteren Ländern angekündigt.

This year, we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our capoeira program in Munich. Mestre Sabiá has enjoyed great affection and appreciation in Europe for many years and now wants to give something back. That is why Encontro Cultural 2026 will honor European cultural forms in addition to capoeira and Brazilian culture.
Under the motto “Encontro Cultural” (Portuguese for “cultural gathering”), capoeira teachers from all over Europe will come together in Munich and offer workshops for children, teenagers, and adults. In addition to fight, dance, acrobatics and music, this time the focus will be on genuine cultural exchange: guests from different countries will present European cultural practices and invite participants to join in. On Saturday, July 11, a big celebration with Brazilian cuisine and music will take place at the SF Harteck clubhouse.
Capoeira masters and teachers from Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Slovenia, Greece, Serbia, and many other countries have already announced their participation.

Über Encontro Cultural
Seit 2012 veranstaltet der Verein Urucungo e.V. jährlich ein großes internationales Capoeira-Treffen in München unter dem Motto „Encontro Cultural“ (zu dt.: „kulturelles Zusammentreffen“). Einem Zusammentreffen der unterschiedlichsten kulturellen Ausdrucksformen der Capoeira und von Capoeira-Lehrenden und -Praktizierenden aus aller Welt, die sich in München zum Austausch ihrer Erfahrungen treffen.
Since 2012, the association Urucungo e.V. has been organizing annually a large international Capoeira meeting in Munich with the motto „Encontro Cultural“ (engl: „cultural meeting“). A gathering of the most diverse cultural expressions of Capoeira and of Capoeira teachers and practitioners from all over the world who meet in Munich to exchange their experiences.
