On the weekend 27./28.09.2025 the Arco Musical workshop took place in Munich.
Arco Musical, a project by capoeiristas Kapacete and Sabiá, was developed in 2019. It offers a unique, meticulously designed methodology to teach people how to play capoeira instruments from scratch.
Each module offers tailored lessons for both beginner and advanced levels. It covers when, what, and how to sing various songs, effective techniques for rhyming in the roda, understanding percussion battery formation, how to lead a capoeira roda and other key aspects.
The following instruments were covered during the workshop:
- Berimbau
- Pandeiro
- Atabaque
- Agogô
- Reco-reco.
And of course there were rodas and some other physical activity.
